Substance and Alcohol Abuse Risk Assessment

Many people use drugs and alcohol throughout their lives. However, the important thing to realize is when substance use turns into substance abuse. The abuse of drugs and alcohol can lead to addiction or dependence and several serious medical and social problems. Fortunately, there are many kinds of treatments available to help people rehabilitate and recover from their addictions.

To see if you are at risk for substance abuse, answer the questions in this risk assessment. This risk assessment can only help you see if you have a problem with substance use. Talk to your health care provider about the results of your risk assessment and any questions you have about your drug and alcohol use.
