Diabetes Risk Assessment

Could you have diabetes and not know it?

There are 20.8 million children and adults in the US with diabetes. Almost 33 percent of them do not know they even have diabetes. That’s 6.2 million people who are not treating their diabetes.

African Americans, Latinos, Native Americans, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders are especially at high risk.

To see if you are at risk for diabetes, answer the questions in this risk assessment. Remember, only your health care provider can tell you if you have diabetes. This risk assessment can only help you see if you have a problem with depression. Talk to your health care provider about the results of your risk assessment and any questions you have about diabetes.
